Recording Event Attendance

Edited

Measuring your attendance is one of the most important parts of the marketing process! See how Trailmap makes updating your attendance numbers easy!

Recording attendance helps you measure the success of your events and understand how many people actually showed up.

This step must be completed by you after the event.

1. When to Record Attendance

There are two ways to update attendance:

  • Live check-in during the event

  • After the event (recommended if using a sign-in sheet)

2. Live Check-In Method

To record attendance during the event:

  • Search for the attendee’s name

  • Update their status to Attended

As you update statuses, your event stats will automatically update in real time.

Repeat this process for each attendee as they arrive.

3. Post-Event Method

If you prefer to update attendance after the event:

  • Use your sign-in sheet to track who attended

  • Go into Trail Map the next day

  • Update each registrant’s status based on attendance

4. What Happens Next

Once attendance is recorded:

  • Your event data will reflect accurate attendance numbers

  • Your team will be notified once updates are complete
