The Direct Mail Registration Process (online & on phone)

When a direct mail campaign is launched, each mailer is designed to make registration easy for the recipient. Steep Marketing uses a dual registration system — allowing prospects to register online or by phone, whichever they prefer.

Each mailer includes two registration options and a unique RSVP PIN code that connects directly to the recipient’s information.

Each mailer includes a dedicated RSVP website (for example: www.800RSVP.com), where recipients can register for the event online.

How it works:

1. The recipient visits the RSVP website listed on their mailer.

2. They enter their unique PIN or RSVP code printed on the mailer.

3. The system automatically pre-populates their details (name, address, etc.).

4. They verify or update their information — including email address and phone number.

5. They can add guest information if they plan to bring someone with them.

6. Registration is completed, and they receive a confirmation message or email summarizing their RSVP details.

This process is simple, user-friendly, and ensures accurate information collection directly from the registrant.

Each mailer also includes a dedicated 1-800 phone number where recipients can register over the phone.

How it works:

1. The recipient calls the toll-free number listed on the mailer.

2. They provide their unique PIN or RSVP code to the representative.

3. The representative pulls up the registrant’s information on screen.

4. The representative verifies email address and phone number, and confirms their attendance.

5. If the registrant has guests, the representative collects guest details and completes the registration process on their behalf.

This provides a personalized and convenient option for registrants who prefer to speak with someone directly.
