Pre-Event Communication Options

When submitting your order in the Steep Portal, you will choose between two pre-event communication options for your direct mail campaign: Standard or Pre-Qual. Both options are included in the cost of your campaign and are designed to help improve attendee engagement before your event.

Standard Communication

The Standard option provides ongoing reminder communications to prospects who register for your event.

Included communications:

  • Initial confirmation email & text after registration

  • Reminder email the day before the event

  • Reminder email & text on the day of the event

Once a prospect registers, they will continue receiving reminders unless their registration status is updated to “Canceled” in the portal.

Pre-Qual Communication

The Pre-Qual option is designed to help confirm interest before the event.

Included communications:

  • Initial notification email & text acknowledging the event request

  • Messaging that informs the prospect the host will contact them to confirm attendance

This option is often used when additional qualification or confirmation is needed before fully registering attendees.

Flexibility Before Launch

Your selected communication option can be updated at any time prior to the campaign launch date. This allows you to adjust your strategy as your event plans or attendance goals evolve.

Please Note:
If you choose the Pre-Qual option, it is important to maintain follow-up communication with your prospects. Additionally, text messages will only be sent if compliance approval is granted.
