Trail Map Overview & How to Use It

1. Dashboard Overview

When you log into Trail Map, you’ll see a dashboard with key widgets that give you a high-level view of your campaigns.

Key sections include:

  • Registrations & Activity: Shows lead flow over time and overall campaign progress

  • Total Registrations: Breakdown of attendees, cancellations, no-shows, and type (seminar vs webinar)

  • Lead Map: Displays where your leads are located (if addresses are provided)

  • Recent & Upcoming Events: Quick view of scheduled activity

  • Recent Registrations: Latest sign-ups for your events


2. Accessing Campaigns

To view campaigns:

  • Go to the left-hand menu

  • Click “Campaigns”

Campaign overview shows:

  • Campaign type (digital or direct)

  • Campaign name (includes topic, date, and time)

  • Presenter and event type

  • Target progress bar (how close you are to your goal)

  • Total leads generated

  • Lead sources (Steep-generated vs manual/email)


3. Understanding Campaign Details

Click into a campaign for a detailed view.

At the top:

  • Program name, location, and address

  • Event dates

  • Total registrations with breakdown:

    • Confirmed

    • Canceled

    • Attended

    • No-show

Additional insights:

  • Lead source graph (digital, email, manual)

  • Toggle between households and individuals


4. Registrant List

You’ll see a full list of people registered for the event, including:

  • Status (confirmed, etc.)

  • Name and guest count

  • Call activity

  • Contact details

  • Registration date

  • Lead source

  • Event selected

  • Age indicator (50+ based on form input)


5. Campaign Tabs Explained

Registrations

  • Full list of all registrants and their details

Events

  • Breakdown of each event within the campaign

  • Click into an event for more detailed registrant info

Map

  • Visual of where attendees are located

  • Dark blue = event location

  • Light blue = registrants

Replay

  • Access seminar replay (covered separately)

Sign-In

  • Print or download a sign-in sheet

  • Option to track attendance digitally or manually

Calls

  • View all call activity for the campaign

  • Includes call logs and actions taken

  • Automatically updates if using call services


6. Calendar View

  • Accessible from the sidebar

  • Shows all past and upcoming events in calendar format


7. Contacts

  • View all contacts across campaigns

  • Includes:

    • Catchlight score

    • Original event registration
